WINGS, which stands for Working Interdisciplinary Networks of Guardianship Stakeholders, is the result of a national effort begun in 2011 when the National Guardianship Network recommended changes including that individual states create coordinated state court-community partnerships. Broad based, collaborative working groups can drive changes that will affect the ways courts and guardians practice and improve the lives of people who have or may need guardians. In short, WINGS is a collective effort to improve adult guardianship in the State of Alabama.
